The first part of this course is the online Canadian Dispensing Systems pre-course which must be completed prior to attending class. It is available as a free self-enrollment course on Saba. It covers all Gilbarco Dispensers: Legacy, Advantage, Eclipse, Encore 300 & Encore 500 (including the S Series). Technicians learn how to install, start up, program and troubleshoot dispensers.
The on-line pre-course is accessible online using a Windows operating system. Once technicians have taken this on-line prerequisite course, they must complete an online exam. Scoring 80% or higher on this exam will allow technicians to attend the 5-day Dispensing Systems Hands-On Class with an instructor. The exam can be reset for additional attempts if required.
The second part of the training is the hands-on class which allows technicians to apply the information covered in the online course and learn to upload software, program dispensers and set up and use their laptop.
